The way I met ScriptWorks is that I have a diabetic cat. According to my vet, the normal way to treat this condition is to give the cat periodic insulin in the form of a shot. Well, you can imagine that Annabelle was not too pleased after one shot and it was clear that this was not going to be a good option. I asked the vet if there were any other alternatives of treatments besides shots. The vet recommended working with ScriptWorks because they make a medicine which stimulates the pancreas to produce more insulin.
My cat loves tuna fish so that’s the flavor we chose. Annabelle LOVES the medicine. When I put the medicine in her bowl she immediately starts purring. I know the medication won’t cure her, but it will help her to live normally and there is no resistance from her. I can see why other patients, such as Chemo patients choose to work with ScriptWorks in the same way.
I came in to pick-up the medication because I wanted it right away. I was impressed with the professionalism and the kindness of the staff. Next time I will probably have the medication mailed because I discovered how inexpensive and easy it is and it will save me a trip. I highly recommend ScriptWorks.Ella- Ukiah, CA
After three consecutive unsuccessful pregnancies had ended in miscarriage, my husband and I were heart broken. We were asking ourselves, would we ever be able to carry a healthy child to term? Would we miss out on the joy of having a child? There was such a season of grief… until our fourth pregnancy.
Our little girl is now a flourishing toddler and I am now pregnant with my second child. This is all after we decided to take the step of faith and use progesterone to maintain my pregnancy. We are forever indebted and thank God for the opportunity to use progesterone to sustain our two babies’ lives. Over the years, ScriptWorks has compounded meds for several of my cats and one of my Collies and is currently compounding for one of my cats and my Collie. Compounding is an exacting science and is even more challenging, I would think, for animals as the dosage needs to be correctly adjusted-not just appetizingly flavored!
The pharmacists at ScriptWorks have taken great pains to work very closely with my veterinarians, often educating them on appropriate drug substitutions which yield the same clinical outcomes but which may lend themselves more readily to compounding.
There are three pharmacies in the area which compound for animals and I have used all three in the past, but prefer ScriptWorks (as do my vets) as they instill complete confidence which can only come from thorough and specialized pharmaceutical training… and a great love of animals!
